• Vicksburg man faces capital murder charges in Texas shooting (vicksburgpost.com) — A double homicide in the Wells Branch area of Austin has led to capital murder charges against a 24-year-old man now held in Travis County Jail on a $500,000 bond. Investigators say two women were found dead in an apartment after an eviction visit, and phone records plus license plate data led deputies to the suspect, who claims he fired in self-defense.
