The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office urges Willis parents to talk with their children about school threats, especially after a separate gun-related incident at the same campus earlier this week. 
• Brenham finishes second in opening pool of Legends Invitational (kdhnews.com) — Brenham’s volleyball team battled through three tough matches at the Legends Invitational in Bryan, earning a spot in the tournament’s top half despite a 1–2 record. The Cubettes now turn their attention to Friday’s pool play, which includes a morning matchup against Willis, giving local fans a chance to see how Willis stacks up against strong regional competition.
