• San Diego's Sara Bagnell wins Women's Rock ‘n' Roll Marathon (timesofsandiego.com) — A runner from Willow Park Isaac Hernandez, just captured the men’s title at San Diego’s Rock ’n’ Roll Marathon with a 2:28:54 finish, putting the city on a big-race podium. The event drew more than 9,000 participants, with San Diego’s Sara Bagnell winning the women’s marathon and several other Californians topping the half-marathon fields.
