• Woodlands Symphony Orchestra presents 'Music of Grateful Dead and More' (houstonchronicle.com) — You can catch a free Grateful Dead–themed symphony concert right here in The Woodlands when the Woodlands Symphony Orchestra plays "Dead Symphony" at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion on Tuesday, Sept. 29. The show reimagines classic rock from the Grateful Dead, Woodstock-era icons, and more in a full orchestral setting, with gates opening an hour before the 7:30 p.m. performance.
