Spring Man Allegedly Shoots, Kills Neighbor Over Barking Dogs
Suspect blamed his neighbor for the break up of his marriage.

SPRING, TX -- A woman who had a long running feud with her neighbor was shot to death outside her home Tuesday afternoon.
Deputies arrested Hector Campos and charged him with murder in the shooting.
Deputies with the Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, along with detectives from the Harris County Sheriff’s Office were called to the 3400 block of Mourning Dove Drive at about 1 p.m. after witness said a man had shot his neighbor.

According to witnesses, the two were arguing outside about the woman’s barking dogs when Campos kicked the woman’s dogs and then pulled out a gun and shot her once in the chest.
A witness who lives across the street, ran over to help the woman and held Campos at gunpoint until deputies arrived and arrested him.

Witnesses told deputies that he pair had a long running feud and that Campos blamed his neighbor for encouraging his wife to leave him and return to Mexico and live with her family.
Campos was taken to he Harris County Jail and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bond.
