VIPD Announce New Information On Case Of Dead Woman Found In Car
Police released new, although limited, information concerning the case of Lucy Lindquist, who was found dead in her car on August 20.

ST. CROIX, USVI — Police addressed the investigation into the death of Lucy Lindquist during a media briefing on Tuesday but provided little additional detail. Lindquist, age 56, was found dead in her car on August 20, 2021. She had multiple stab wounds, according to the police report.
The Tuesday media briefing was intended to address the spike in violent crimes and homicides across the territory, but also specifically in St. Croix. When asked about the Lindquist investigation, Chief Detective Naomi Joseph said that no arrests have been made but the Virgin Islands Police Department does have several leads.
Chief Detective Joseph also said that police now know that although Lindquist was found in her car, the incident started in her home.
