“Palm Springs” (2020) — A wedding in Palm Springs, California, brings two strangers together in an endless, romance-fueled time loop. Nyles, the boyfriend of one of the bridesmaids, and Sarah, the bride’s sister and maid of honor, must figure out how to break the loop — or accept their intertwined fates.

“Dirty Dancing” (1987) — This '80s classic is one of the original summer love blockbusters — and rightfully so. This film centers on forbidden love at a resort in the Catskills between a woman one summer away from a stint in the Peace Corps and her dance instructor.

“Drinking Buddies” (2013) — This booze-filled summer film deals with co-workers at a craft beer brewery trying to ignore their mutual attraction. But when the two take a camping trip together, all bets are off. The only problem? They're both dating other people.

“Liz in September” (2013) — This tale of romance, sexuality and self-exploration centers on Eva, a woman who lost her son to cancer, and the deep, romantic bond she forms with Liz, a terminally ill woman staying at a hotel with a group of her friends.

“Footloose” (2011) — A ban on loud music and dancing is sure to get any small town riled up. This 2011 remake of the 1984 classic features Kenny Wormald, Dennis Quaid and Julianne Hough as they navigate death, censorship and young love in the American South.

“Letters To Juliet” (2010) — Sophie visits Verona, Italy, with her busy fiancé and comes across a wall where heartbroken lovers leave notes to William Shakespeare's Juliet Capulet. After she finds a letter from 1957, Sophie decides to write to its elderly author, Claire, and the two embark on a quest to find her long-lost lover with the help of Claire’s grandson.

“Love Island” (2015) — A group of young singles looking for a romance-packed summer are dropped into a drama-filled pressure cooker in a luxury villa in Spain. But there’s a little more incentive to find love — a grand prize of £50,000.

“AWOL” (2016) — This story of forbidden love involves Joey, a young woman living in a small town who decides to join the Army, but things get complicated when she meets and falls in love with Rayna, a woman already married to a man.

“My Girl” (1991) — Ignored by her funeral director father, 11-year-old tomboy Vada Sultenfuss is an outcast. To make matters worse, her best friend, Thomas J. Sennett, is a boy. Oh, and did we mention that Vada is desperately in love with her English teacher?

“Jersey Shore” (2009) — MTV's highest-rated series ever centers on a group of larger-than-life friends from the northeast as they bring fist-pumping, spray tans and — most of all — drama to the cities of Seaside Heights, New Jersey; Miami, Florida; and Florence, Italy.
