There are many contenders, from classics like "It's A Wonderful Life" to less obvious choices like "Die Hard" — tell Patch where you stand.
It's the most wonderful time of the year. With people out of work and out of school and, in many place, snow on the ground and people getting ready for family gatherings, the same question is being asked around the country.
What's the best Christmas movie of all time?
For many years, it was pretty much a two-movie race: :It's A Wonderful Life" and "Miracle on 34th Street."

As time has moved on, tastes have changed more movies have risen to the top of the list.
"A Christmas Story" has become a top pick with 24-hour showings on cable as has "Elf."

"How the Grinch Stole Christmas" has its following as does "Love, Actually" and "Home Alone."
In recent years, even "Die Hard" with Bruce Willis has emerged as a Christmas favorite.
There's also "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation," the classic "White Christmas" with Bing Crosby, and "The Santa Clause" with Tim Allen. And, don't forget Tim Burton's "Nightmare Before Christmas," "Santa Paws," "Gremlins," and the Kate Winslet and Cameron Diaz movie, "The Holiday."
