Dallas Seeks Community Input On Future Land Use, Housing And More

City leaders recently launched an online survey and want to hear from residents regarding the future of the downtown area.

DALLAS, GA—Dallas officials want to know what the community thinks about future land use, transportation improvements, housing, and economic development in downtown Dallas.

City officials say they recently hired a team of consultants to lead the effort to update the downtown Dallas Livable Centers Iniative (LCI) Study. This plan focuses on creating a vision and feasible goals for the future of downtown Dallas, they said.

To help do that, the city wants to hear from residents. To do that, they recently launched an online survey.

City leaders said the survey will help ensure that the planning team understands local issues and opportunities, and make sure the plan best reflects the community's interests.
