At least 31 lawsuits have been filed against Astroworld Festival organizers in the wake of a crowd surge incident that killed eight people Friday at NRG Park in Houston.
Live Nation Worldwide Inc. is named in the lawsuits filed Monday in various Harris County District Courts. Others named in some or most of the lawsuits include Travis Scott, Drake, Live Nation subsidiaries, the Harris County Sports & Convention Corporation and Scoremore LLC.

Petition Calls For Laundrie Case Review
Thousands have signed a Change.org petition calling for Florida's Gov. Ron DeSantis to launch an internal investigation into North Port police over their handling of the Brian Laundrie and Gabby Petito case. Rittenhouse Shot First Man At Close Range
The first man killed by Kyle Rittenhouse on the streets of Kenosha was shot at a range of just a few feet and had soot injuries that could indicate he had his hand over the barrel of Rittenhouse’s rifle, a pathologist testified Tuesday. Gosar Under Fire For Violent Video
Arizona Rep. Paul Gosar was facing criticism after he tweeted a video that included altered animation showing him striking Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez with a sword.
The roughly 90-second video is an altered version of a Japanese anime series, interspersed with shots of Border Patrol officers and migrants at the southern U.S. border. During one roughly 10-second section of the video, animated characters whose faces have been replaced with Gosar and fellow Republican Reps.
