New Girl Scout Cookie 2023: Meet The Raspberry Rally

ACROSS AMERICA — While fans of Thin Mints and Tagalongs still have months to wait before Girl Scout cookie sales start for 2023, that didn't stop the organization from tempting the sweet tooth in everyone by recently revealing next year's new cookie flavor.

The Raspberry Rally will join the nationwide cookie lineup for the 2023 Girl Scout cookie season, the organization announced Tuesday.

Described as a "sister" cookie to the beloved Thin Mints, the Raspberry Rally is thin and crispy and is infused with raspberry flavor instead of mint. The new cookie is finished with a dip in the same chocolate coating.

Before you run off to your local grocery store to buy a box from your favorite cookie booth, hang on: The Raspberry Rally will be the first Girl Scout cookie sold exclusively online.

The purpose of making the cookie online-only is to "enhance girls' e-commerce sales and entrepreneurial skills," Girls Scouts of the USA said in a news release.

The Raspberry Rally follows this year's debut of the Adventureful, a fudgy cookie-brownie combo packed with caramel creme and a hint of sea salt.

Proceeds raised from in-person and online cookie sales directly benefit local Girl Scouts councils and troops.

Girl Scout cookie season is recognized nationally from January through April; however, local timing varies. Visit www.girlscoutcookies.org and sign up to be notified as soon as your local troop begins sales in your area.
