Both Cal and Linda had been vaccinated and were among the rare breakthrough coronavirus cases that have ended in COVID-19 deaths. The two were taken off ventilators Sunday after they were wheeled into the same room. Cal died at 11:07 a.m.; Linda followed at 11:08.

Actor Adopts Abused Puppy
While he may resemble an immovable force of nature in the wrestling ring, those who know WWE star and actor Dave Bautista will tell you he's a total pushover where animals are concerned. It's that soft spot that led the “Guardians Of The Galaxy” actor, who lives in Port Tampa, Florida, to offer a $5,000 reward to find the person responsible for abusing a 3-month-old puppy found with a metal chain embedded in her neck. It’s also what drove him to take the puppy home.
"I just came across her story, and it crushed me," Bautista said in an interview. "To me, there's nothing more innocent and pure than a puppy. And for someone who can abuse a puppy has got to be the lowest form of human being.” » Dave Bautista Adopts Puppy Found With Chain Embedded In Neck, via Tampa Patch
