AT&T Outage Preventing Service Affects Dallas, Houston, San Antonio Among 300-Plus Locales
The business voice outage comes one month after customers were unable to dial 911 due to a service issue.

AUSTIN, TX — Dallas, Houston and San Antonio are among cities affected by an AT&T outage on Monday affecting business voice customers nationwide.
Company officials confirmed the outage has affected more than 300 locations, including Los Angeles, Miami, St. Louis, Chicago and New York.
"We are aware of an issue affecting some of our business voice customers," company officials said in a prepared statement. "We apologize to our affected customers and are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible."

Businesses across a wide swath have reported loss of phone service as a result of this latest service issue in as many months. In March, AT&T customers were unable to dial 911 as a result of a previous service issue.
