AT&T Phone Outage Affects Several Customers Saturday
Several AT&T customers took to Twitter to complain about the outages.

Multiple AT&T customers reported issues when trying to make or receive calls Saturday.
The AT&T customer support Twitter account, @ATTCares, responded to customers complaining about the service outage. In response to one customer, the account tweeted there is a "known national outage."
According to Down Detector, the website that tracks such outages, there were multiple reports of outages.

In a statement, an AT&T spokesperson said service has been restored. Customers were apparently affected by a hardware issue which caused some calls not to connect during a brief period Saturday morning.
"We apologize for the inconvenience," the spokesperson said.
