The president launches an apprenticeship initiative and then sign an executive order shifting oversight away from the Department of Labor.

In the afternoon, President Trump leaves the White House for the Department of Labor where he will give remarks at the Apprenticeship Initiative kickoff.

Later in the afternoon, he will sign an executive order and then return to the White House. The executive order is expected to shift oversight of apprenticeship programs away from the Department of Labor.

THE VICE PRESIDENT

This morning, Vice President Pence will deliver remarks at the National Association of Home Builders 2017 Legislative Conference.

He will then participate in a call with Turkish Cypriot leader Mustafa Akinci.

In the afternoon, Pence will join Trump for an Apprenticeship Initiative kickoff and executive order signing.
