Trump Attends State Dinner In China: White House Schedule Nov. 9

THE PRESIDENT

The Trumps started the day with a welcome ceremony with President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China and Madame Peng Liyuan.

Trump then has a restricted bilateral meeting with President Xi followed by an expanded meeting

Afterward, the presidents attend attend a business event and in the afternoon, deliver a joint press conference.

Later, Trump meets with Chinese Premier Li Keqiang.

The Trumps then participate in an embassy meet and greet.

In the evening, they attend a state dinner and cultural performance.

THE VICE PRESIDENT

Vice President Mike Pence, joined by Secretary of Labor Alexander Acosta, will visit Plainfield, Indiana.

There, along with Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb they will meet with local business leaders and Hoosier families to discuss what the White House says is "the need for tax reform in the United States."

Pence will conclude his visit with formal remarks to the community.

WHITE HOUSE DAILY BRIEFING

There is no briefing scheduled as of 12:15 a.m., Eastern. On Wednesday, however, the White House scheduled a background briefing with so-called "senior administration officials." So, who knows?
