Photos: Relay For Life Kicks Off at Concord High
Awareness advocates and cancer survivors urge locals to join Relay for Life Saturday and Sunday at Concord High.

Adalto Nascimento is the editor of Concord Patch.
He's earned a B.A. degree in journalism with a minor in photography from California State University, Sacramento, where he expanded and developed his writing, photography and multimedia skills.
He worked as a freelance journalist and photographer in the Sacramento region for three years prior to assuming editorial responsibilities at Concord Patch in July of 2011.
Adalto also sold his work to the Associated Press, the Pulitzer Prize-winning Sacramento Bee and other organizations. Prior to that he worked as the online managing editor and photo editor of the university's student-run newspaper, The State Hornet and before that, for Diablo Valley College's The Inquirer.
