American Legion Post 1038, Neighbor

We are a 501(c)(19) organization, charted by Congress in 1919. Our Post, the American Legion Adolph Pfister Post 1038 began in 1931. We provide and fund many VA Montrose Hospital patient events held at our Post, provide monthly financial support to a Food Panty for unemployed veterans at VA Montrose Hospital, and support American Legion Boys State. We organize the Valhalla Memorial Day Parade and Veterans Day ceremonies; hold the charter for Valhalla Boy Scout Troop #1 and much more. We are over 90 Legionnaires, all wartime veterans, strong and growing, with many recent Gulf War OIF/OEF veterans.
