Join the Alameda Chamber &amp; Economic Alliance and the City of Alameda for the inaugural Discover Alameda Business Expo, Career Fair &amp; Mixer, bringing together businesses, employers, professionals, entrepreneurs, job seekers, and community members for one evening of opportunity, networking, and discovery.
Walk the expo floor. Discover the companies that make the island run, and the ones about to.
Work the career fair. Hiring happens face to face here. Bring a resume, leave with real conversations with real decision makers.
Stay for the mixer. The best connections happen after the handshake. Make yours inside one of Alameda Point's most iconic spaces.
Free parking. Face-to-face networking. Opportunities for every career stage.
Admission is free, but please register in advance to attend. Your free ticket helps us plan for food, space, and the raffle. Doors open at 4 PM. Come for ten minutes or stay for three hours.
What to bring: multiple copies of your resume, plenty of business cards, professional attire, and a winning attitude.
What you get: a complimentary drawing ticket at the door for the raffle, plus complimentary food samples from local vendors while you make the rounds.

Pack a picnic and bring the family — Awesome Orchestra is bringing a free outdoor concert to Radium Runway. Enjoy an afternoon of orchestral adventures from a 100+ musician ensemble known for taking classical music out of the concert hall and into the streets, parks, and venues of the Bay Area — plus the music you know from films and video games, played live. Join us for this open rehearsal that is sure to delight all ages.

Radium Stories returns to Radium Runway, Sept. 24th, under the Big Top tent, for an evening of live storytelling curated by JP Frary.
The Side Show, featuring the NPR Storyteller of the Year, two Moth GrandSlam winners, two nationally renowned comedians, Gem Tales podcaster, a killer DJ and art on the walls. This is the night you don't want to miss.
The theme is "Back To School (Fool)" and the stories will be funny and sad and serious and ridiculous and everything in between.
Seating 6:30 PM Show 7:30 PM $30 in advance $35 at the door

Radium Stories - The Side Show - Back to School (Fool) 

Join us at the Alameda Free Library for a free film screening of the documentary "Beyond the Bridge: A Solution to Homelessness."
BEYOND THE BRIDGE is an ambitious documentary film about solutions to homelessness. Filmmakers Don Sawyer and Tim Hashko traveled 44,000 miles around the US to answer this question: How can this country solve homelessness in a comprehensive way? The answer may surprise you with its simplicity, as two cities proved that solving homelessness is within the reach of all communities.
The film focuses on changing the national discourse on homelessness solutions, addressing the upstream causes of homelessness, and addressing the downstream via housing and robust supportive services in combination.
The film will be followed by a panel conversation.
Event will take place in the Stafford Room. Dinner and refreshments will be provided.

Radium Stories returns to Radium Runway, Oct. 22nd, under the Big Top tent, for an evening of live storytelling curated by JP Frary.
The Side Show, featuring the creator of SNAP Judgment, a Stanford professor, a working psychologist, two Moth GrandSlam winners, multiple musicians, staged in a genuine circus tent!
The theme is "That Sounded Good At The Time," featuring stories that will make you laugh, cry, and possibly sing and dance. A single musician will accompany each storyteller on stage to help set the journey in motion. This will be an amazing collaborative adventure.
