THE NATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF THE INDEPENDENT MOVEMENT
The Independent National Convention, September 23–25, 2026, is the premier national gathering for people building the independent movement in America. Produced by United Independents during America’s 250th anniversary year, INC26 brings together candidates, organizers, creators, reformers, and leaders working beyond the traditional two-party system. The three-day program features live conversations, interviews, panel discussions, networking opportunities, and direct access to the people driving the movement forward.

National Press Club

Two days. 3,000 names. One powerful call to remember.
The White Cross Project comes to Washington, D.C., September 25–26, for a two-day event bringing together South African farm-attack survivors, policy leaders, civil society leaders, and constitutional lawyers.
The event begins Friday, September 25, with a conference at the National Press Club, featuring survivor testimony and discussions surrounding farm attacks, rural safety, political incitement, property rights, and constitutional solutions. 
On Saturday, September 26, approximately 3,000 white crosses—each bearing the verified name of a person murdered in a South African farm attack—will be placed on the National Mall, north of the Washington Monument and facing the White House. Survivors and families of victims will join the public memorial and vigil. 
Join the White Cross Project for a powerful weekend of remembrance, survivor stories, public awareness, and meaningful conversation in the heart of Washington, D.C.

Leading Glass expert and interpreter, pianist Jenny Lin, kicks off the St. Ann Free Classical Concert Series to perform an all-Glass concert in celebration of the composer's 90th birthday.
