Tabby's Place: a Cat Sanctuary

If black cats are your favorite part of Halloween, Tabby’s Place has just the treat for you.
On Saturday, October 24th, from 12-4pm, Tabby’s Place will host Chip or Treat, a free microchipping clinic and open house with fun activities for the whole family.
Tabby’s Place is a cage-free haven for cats from hopeless situations. The one-of-a-kind sanctuary embraces cats regardless of age, medical issues, or temperament, making it a harbor of hope for the most desperate. Since 2003, Tabby’s Place has saved over 5,000 cats in our community and abroad. Most Tabby’s Place cats go on to be adopted, with the rest finding a loving family for life right at the sanctuary.
Cats and dogs alike are welcome at the free microchipping clinic. Microchipping can mean the difference between heartbreak and happy reunion if a pet should run away. Tabby’s Place is offering this service at no cost, as a thank you for the community’s generous support over the past 23 years.
Appointments are recommended for microchipping. Pre-register by 10/17 at www.tabbysplace.org/chip-or-treat/.
Chips are just one of many treats on offer at this festive family celebration. Guests will enjoy self-guided tours of Tabby’s Place, complete with trick-or-treating with the cats and delicious fall refreshments.
Best of all, pet lovers will celebrate 23 years of saving the neediest members of our community. Guests at Chip or Treat are encouraged to treat the cats with donations to Tabby’s Place, which is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization.
For additional information, please contact Tabby’s Place Feline Resource Coordinator Rey Watson at rw@tabbysplace.org or 908-237-5300 ext. 651.
