I serve as Treasurer of the Breast Cancer Comfort Foundation, LLC. We would like to post articles and events in the Hicksville patch.

The Breast Cancer Comfort Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 organization located in Hicksville NY. http://www.breastcancercomfort.org

Our mission is to provide comfort, emotional support and encouragement to individuals whose lives have been forever changed by curative or preventative breast cancer treatment.

All donations to our organization are fully tax deductible, and 100% of the funds are used to create Comfort Baskets or Chemo Comfort Bags which are delivered to patients.

Each beautifully made bag or basket contains thoughtfully chosen gifts and personal care items. Our organization has been gaining momentum since 2014, when it was founded by

Debi Cavolo, RN-Surgical Nurse and breast cancer survivor. Debi wanted to spread hope and support with a simple act of kindness. Approximately 50 baskets are delivered each month to homes and hospitals
