Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum

Young artists will create their own colorful suncatchers, inspired by the signature stained-glass windows at the Ryman Auditorium. Formerly known as the Union Gospel Tabernacle, the Ryman Auditorium began its journey to becoming the “Mother Church of Country Music” in 1945, when it became home to the Grand Ole Opry. Since that time, it has been the spot of many iconic moments, from twice-weekly radio broadcasts to early performances by Roy Acuff and Dolly Parton. Learn more about the Ryman Auditorium in the Museum’s permanent exhibition, Sing Me Back Home. All ages. Taylor Swift Education Center. Included with Museum admission. Free to Museum members.

Jennifer Fiedler and Trey&nbsp;Smith&nbsp;are the&nbsp;duo&nbsp;Smithfield. They have made&nbsp;numerous&nbsp;appearances on the Grand Ole Opry and have opened for Brothers Osborne, Kane Brown, Sara Evans, Dustin Lynch, Scotty McCreery, Old Dominion, Josh Turner, and Morgan Wallen. Smithfield released their newest single, “Let You,” in early May. Ford Theater. Included with Museum admission. Program ticket required. Free to Museum members.

North Carolina natives Darin and Brooke Aldridge are a bluegrass and gospel duo who have shared stages and recording studios with artists including Mark Fain, Mo Pitney, and Country Music Hall of Fame members the Oak Ridge Boys and Ricky Skaggs. Brooke is a four-time winner of the International Bluegrass Music Association’s Female Vocalist of the Year award, and Darin is a former member of the Country Gentlemen and an IBMA Mentor of the Year award winner.
