We’re excited to add a new competition format to our “City Series”!&nbsp; Join us for a dynamic, skills-focused outdoor parkour competition designed to challenge athletes of all levels while celebrating progression, creativity, and community. This event brings together youth and adult participants to test themselves across a series of thoughtfully designed challenges- from low-impact fundamentals to advanced, coach-level movements. With a structured, multi-stage format and clearly defined goals for each challenge, competitors will have the opportunity to demonstrate precision, control, and adaptability in a supportive, high-energy environment. Spectators- especially families- will get a front-row view of athletes applying what they’ve learned in class in a real, performance-based setting. 
The competition begins with an open “Community Round,” where participants work through a wide variety of challenges at their own pace, followed by 1-2 rounds to whittle down the field and give participants a more focused format.&nbsp; 
With age-based categories that welcome our full community and a transparent point system that rewards both completion and efficiency, the event is accessible to newcomers while still offering depth for experienced practitioners that want to push their limits. Whether you’re aiming to benchmark your skills, prepare for future competitions, or simply enjoy a day of movement outdoors with fun people, this event is a unique opportunity to engage with the parkour community and push your abilities!

Overview
A multi-day parkour &amp; movement event featuring instruction by guest coaches from across the globe with training and workshops for all!
Come join this international event which brings together coaches and participants from across the globe for a weekend of shared experiences and great training. We’re back in Somerville/Boston and we’re looking forward to welcoming the community back !
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Meet &amp; Greet session to kick off the event on Friday - limited spots available!
- Three days (20+ hours) of coaching from some of the world's most experienced parkour instructors hailing from around the world.
- 10-12 modules and workshops covering a range of parkour-related topics including modules about strength &amp; conditioning, recovery and recuperation, nutrition, mental training, and the spiritual/philosophical side of training. Plus a few surprises!
- A YOUTH EVENT specifically setup and scheduled for ages 8-13yo.
- An awesome weekend of training and fun!

Join Dr. Katherine Gergen Barnett, family medicine physician, nationally recognized health equity leader, and trusted voice on the future of American health care, for a powerful and reflective talk on what hospice teaches us about caring for one another when it matters most. Drawing on decades of leadership in whole-person care, equity, and health system reform, as well as her personal experience with Good Shepherd Community Care during her father, Commentator and former White House Communications Director,&nbsp;David Gergen's&nbsp;final year, Dr. Gergen Barnett will explore how compassion, trust, and community can transform the patient and family experience and guide us toward a more humane and just health care system.

The Improbable Beasts bass clarinet ensemble, with special guests Meryl Summers(bassoon) and Solon Gordon (piano) present “We Rise,” a program of music about coming together in the midst of adversity, and rising up in community.
Beasts director Jonathan Russell will be joined by pianist Solon Gordon and bassoonist Meryl Summers in his compositional response to the dislocations and disruptions of our current moment called “We Reflect, We Grieve, We Rise.” 
After this, the Beasts present two more of Russell’s original compositions and close with a rousing rendition of the African American Spiritual and protest song “Down by the Riverside.” 
Come join the Beasts for a memorable afternoon of moving and rousing music.
