Once, when I was in fifth grade, my teacher called me over to her desk, sat me down, and told me how great my paper about our class' Lyman Woods field trip was, and how I'd make a "wonderful writer." With retrospect, I can be pretty sure that she said that to all of the students who turned in a paper about Lyman Woods, because she was a super nice lady. Nontheless, from that moment on, I wanted to be a writer.
