Born and raised in Wisconsin, Shelly earned her engineering degree at Marquette University on a ROTC scholarship before completing a master's in environmental engineering at Old Dominion University. America’s National Independence Day Parade takes place annually on July 4th at 10:30 am in Washington, D.C. before a street audience of thousands of spectators. The parade starts at 3rd St. NW and Constitution Ave., runs south along 3rd St. SW to Independence Ave., heads west at Independence Ave., and ends at 12th St. SW.The Parade consists of invited bands, fife and drum corps, floats, military and specialty units, giant balloons, equestrian, drill teams, VIP’s, national dignitaries, and celebrity participants.

The capstone of America’s 250th anniversary brings hundreds of thousands of visitors to the Washington Monument grounds and surrounding areas for a full day of performances, flyovers, first time aerobatic demonstrations over DC, and a live broadcast evening program—culminating with the largest fireworks display in history.<h2>What to Expect</h2>

Join Supreme Chord, a dynamic all-voices a cappella group with members across the DMV&nbsp;(including in Beltsville!) for our 18th anniversary at the Atlas Performing Arts Center with an amazing night of a cappella music celebrating our collective milestones in life!&nbsp; You can get your tickets via the <a href="https://www.atlasarts.org/events/supremechord/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Atlas Performing Arts Center</a>.
The performance will also feature Supreme Chord as well as two dynamic&nbsp; D.C.-based ensembles as guest groups:&nbsp;Chord of Appeals and The Augmented Eight.&nbsp;
