Danielle is a born-and-raised Angeleno who enjoys discovering the city's many hidden gems.  As a child, she was always interested in journalism and wrote, edited and designed a magazine every summer with contributions from her neighborhood friends (always distributed via a red Radio Flyer wagon). She earned her B.A. in journalism from Cal State University Northridge, and she's proud of being an alumnus of the Daily Sundial, which gave her the amazing opportunity to serve as editor in chief of the student newspaper during the historic 2008 presidential elections.

During business hours, Danielle's a copywriter at a toy company; at any other time, she can be found wandering L.A. and writing for her blog, TheNativeLATourist.com. Her work has appeared in LAist.com, Socal.com and Examiner.com. Danielle lives in the NoHo Arts District with her husband, cat and dog.
