At Northern Westchester Surgical Services, our plastic surgeons perform both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. The field of plastic surgery includes both aesthetic and reconstructive surgical procedures. Aesthetic procedures are primarily intended to improve the appearance of facial and bodily features, while reconstructive procedures are generally involved with restoring a change which may be the result of illness, trauma or tumor surgery. Our most widely performed cosmetic procedures are facelifts, eyelid surgery and rhinoplasty, breast lift, breast augmentation and body contouring, which includes liposuction, abdominoplasty, and skin lifting following weight loss surgery. We offer traditional tumescent liposuction as well as SmartLipo™. Commonly performed reconstructive procedures include breast reconstruction, breast reduction, skin cancer removal, and reconstruction after Mohs surgery. Our practice also offers the latest techniques in non-surgical rejuvenative treatments including IPL skin rejuvenation treatments and non-ablative skin resurfacing treatments with the Icon™ Aesthetic System. We also offer ablative skin resurfacing using the SmartSkin™ laser and skin tightening treatments with the Protégé Elite™ radio frequency device. Other non-surgical treatments are BOTOX®, Xeomin®, Dysport®, Restylane®, Restylane Silk®, Sculptra®, Radiesse®, Belotero®, Voluma XC®, JUVÉDERM® Injectable Gel, fat grafting, chemical peels, and laser assisted hair removal. We also carry OBAGI®, ZO Medical®, and SkinCeuticals® skin care products. Finally, our aestheticians are available for microdermabrasion and for medical-strength peels.
