Morrill Memorial Library is hosting MBTA' s Mobility Center staff on 
Tuesday May 12, 2026 from 12pm-2pm on the first floor near the 
Circulation desk.&nbsp;
Members of the MBTA's Travel Training team, part of the Mobility 
Center, will be on-site to help individuals apply for reduced fares on 
subway, bus, commuter rail, ferry, and/or The RIDE available to anyone 
age 65+, anyone with a documented disability, and anyone who receives a 
benefit from MassHealth or the Department of Transitional Assistance. 
Interested individuals should bring photo ID with them to complete the application.
The staff can also assist with Transportation Access Pass. The required documentation is one of the following:

<li>&nbsp; &nbsp; Disability placard from the Registry of Motor Vehicles</li>
<li>&nbsp; &nbsp; Current non-MBTA reduced fare card with an expiration date</li>
<li>&nbsp; &nbsp; Signed letter from an MBTA Travel Trainer on MBTA letterhead</li>
<li>&nbsp; &nbsp; Medicare, One Care, or Tufts Health Unify Card</li>
<li>&nbsp; &nbsp; Veteran benefits summary letter on VA letterhead specifying a disability rating of 70% or higher</li>
<li>&nbsp; &nbsp; Department of Mental Health (DMH) signed verification letter</li>
<li>&nbsp; &nbsp; Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission (MRC) signed verification letter</li>
</ul>

Connections @ the Library, a monthly drop-in gathering hosted by 
Riverside Community Care on the third Wednesday of each month in the 
Morrill Memorial Library's Simoni Room. Each month highlights new ways 
to get connected, as well as focused help from a trusted local resource
Community Connections @ the Library is designed to help residents 
learn about local resources, programs, and opportunities for personal 
growth and well-being. Meet with a community coach, enjoy friendly 
conversation, and discover ways to strengthen your connection to the 
people and supports around you. Drop in, bring your lunch or a coffee, 
and discover tools in your community that promote balance, resilience, 
and wellness.&nbsp; All are welcome, and all questions are welcome - regardless of each month's highlighted topic.

Development Department,&nbsp; is thrilled to announce the second program in 
our Entrepreneurship series called Building Smarter Business with AI. The program will take place on Thursday May 21, 2026 at 7PM in the Simoni Room.
Artificial intelligence is transforming how businesses operate—but 
much of the conversation around AI is confusing or overly technical. 
Please join Sandra A. Casey, MIT-trained engineer and founder of Ugabot,
 as she explains how AI can be used for small and medium-sized 
businesses (SMBs). In this practical talk, Sandra will explain what AI 
really is and how SMBs can start using it today to save time, reduce 
costs, and gain a competitive edge.
Designed for entrepreneurs and small business owners at any stage
 of their AI journey, this session will break down the technology in 
simple terms and show how businesses are already using AI to improve 
productivity and streamline operations.

helping small and mid-sized businesses improve efficiency through AI 
agents, analytics, and workflow automation. Sandra began her AI software
 career in 2019 at Citrine Informatics, building machine learning 
systems for materials research. She later developed AI software across 
industries including real estate, fintech, and HR technology, and now 
helps businesses implement practical AI solutions through Ugabot.
