Thrilled that their newly released singles are getting national radio airplay and moving up the Top 100 Americana Singles and Top 100 AAA Singles Charts, <a href="https://www.wrecklessstrangers.com/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Wreckless Strangers</a> continue their album release celebration with several shows in the San Francisco Bay Area, including Lucca Bar &amp; Grill in Benicia, the newly reopened historic Papermill Creek Saloon in West Marin, a stint at the Golden Gate Park Bandshell, a fundraiser for Challenged Athletes Foundation, and more.
Wreckless Strangers return to their roots with their forthcoming studio album, Dirty Souls. The six-song collection marks the band’s rawest and most visceral effort to date — a modern take on the arena rock of the ’70s and ’80s that inspired their earliest musical influences. The first single, "<a href="https://vyd.co/WrecklessStrangersDirtySoul" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">Dirty Soul</a>," came out on January 23 and is getting radio play across the nation, and is available on most streaming platforms. Their second single, <a href="https://vyd.co/TheRunaround" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">“The Runaround,”</a> was released on February 27, and the <a href="https://vyd.co/DirtySouls" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">full album</a> comes out on March 27. Concert attendees will have the opportunity to purchase copies of the CD at the live shows.
Dirty Souls is the band’s third studio outing under the tutelage of Grammy-winning producer Dave Way, who fosters a level of depth and organic cohesion that firmly establishes Wreckless Strangers in San Francisco’s storied rock ’n’ roll legacy. The songwriting is among their most intimate and personal, exploring themes of relationships, loss, empowerment, and perseverance. Co-lead singers Amber Morris and David Noble function as a single organism, bringing the songs to life with bluesy grit, soul, and humanity bolstered by rock-solid, road-hewn grooves.

Wreckless Strangers is a collective of friends and musicians carrying the torch for San Francisco’s grand rock ‘n’ roll tradition. Their unique blend of “Ameri-Cali Soul” melds the contemporary blues stylings of Bonnie Raitt and Boz Scaggs; the songwriting sensibilities of Sons of Champlin and Fleetwood Mac; the swashbuckling Americana of the Lost Planet Airmen and Peter Rowan; and the funk of Sly Stone and Tower of Power with a dash of Grateful Dead and Jefferson Airplane for flavor and unpredictability. With soaring vocal harmonies and burning instrumental improvisation, framed by concise, poignant original songwriting, Wreckless Strangers seek to honor and carry forth the brand of free-spirited musical fun and adventure that defines the Bay Area. 

The band features Amber Morris on lead vocals; David Noble on lead guitar and lead vocals; Joshua Zucker on bass and vocals; Mick Hellman on drums and vocals; Rob Anderson on guitar and vocals; and Fletcher Nielsen on keys. The Rancho Nicasio show will also include special guests Mike Rinta (trombone), Doug Rowan (saxophone), and Ryan Scott (trumpet). 

The band was recently invited back to perform live on Nashville’s famed Americana Roots radio station, WMOT, and performed at NAMM in Southern California in January.

The&nbsp;Muir Beach Volunteer Fire Department&nbsp;(MBVFD ) is thrilled to announce details for the&nbsp;52nd Annual Muir Beach Volunteer Firefighters’ Barbecue&nbsp;on Sunday afternoon of Memorial Day Weekend,&nbsp;May 24, in Santos Meadow near Muir Beach and Muir Woods. Featuring delicious food, fantastic live music, tasty craft beers, premium wine, and a whole lot of fun for the family, the Muir Beach Volunteer Firefighters’ Barbecue is a festive gathering, a favorite Memorial Day weekend tradition in Marin, and an essential fundraiser for the Muir Beach Volunteer Fire Department.
This year’s event is especially meaningful as the MBVFD recently broke ground on its&nbsp;new firehouse near the Muir Beach Overlook. Proceeds from the Barbecue will go directly toward completing the building and equipping the department, ensuring the firefighters are well-prepared to serve the community for decades to come.
Live music will keep the energy high all day! Opening the festivities is rock and roll band&nbsp;SunHunter, recently voted&nbsp;Best Band in Marin&nbsp;in the&nbsp;Pacific Sun&nbsp;Readers’ Poll. Perennial favorites&nbsp;Andre’s All-Stars, featuring top-tier musicians performing classic rock and R&amp;B, will keep the crowd dancing.
No barbecue is complete without incredible food, and MBVFD has it covered. Muir Beach firefighters and community members will tend the smoky grills all afternoon. Barbecue chicken, crepes, vegetarian tamale lunches, handmade desserts, sodas, beer, and wine will be available, as will clothing and other items featuring the famous Muir Beach Volunteer Fire Department’s iconic dog logo.
The day concludes with an exciting raffle featuring dozens of incredible prizes, including accommodations, top-tier restaurant gift certificates, and unique experiences from across the Bay Area and beyond.
