Don’t forget to select your t-shirt size when registering!Set a personal mileage goal and track your progress.Attend our Kick-Off event on Saturday, September 26 from 12 to 2pm. Pick up your t-shirt, patch and case study, enjoy light refreshments with fellow bird enthusiasts, learn interesting facts about hawks from a member of our Education Team and join a hike led by TRT staff (optional). If you are not able to attend, your items will be mailed to you. Walk, run, hike, or move in your own way - every journey matters!Use apps like Strava, AllTrails, MapMyRun, Apple, or Fitbit to log your miles from September 26 to October 3, and submit your total on October 4, 2026. Top finishers will win a Winners’ Package. Everyone who registers is automatically entered into our Daily Giveaways!This year, we're shining a spotlight on one of New Jersey's most familiar and beloved raptors; the Red-tailed Hawk! Our commemorative Walk for Hawks t-shirt and educational case study will feature this incredible bird, giving you the chance to learn more about its remarkable migration, behavior, and the challenges it faces in the wild. Separated by eight years and a day—and 4,700 miles—Dmitri Shostakovich and George Gershwin developed radically different musical styles. Through engaging audience interaction, discover fresh insights with Maestro Maull and the Quartet into works by these two early 20th-century composers, whose birthdays we honor on September 25th and 26th.
Renowned for their dynamic performances and innovative repertoire choices, the&nbsp;Madison String Quartet&nbsp;(Evelyn Estava, violin; Rebecca Harris-Lee, violin; Michael&nbsp;Avagliano, viola; and Gerall Hieser, violoncello)&nbsp;has firmly established itself as a trailblazing ensemble, with a special focus on exploring Hispanic musical traditions from both sides of the Atlantic. As noted by Paul Somers of Classical New Jersey, the quartet has expertly carved out a unique niche in the world of classical music. One of the Quartet’s distinguishing features is its commitment to breaking down the barrier between performers and the audience, creating an inviting and immersive atmosphere that allows masterpieces from various eras to shine.

Wagner Farm Arboretum Foundation will host its inaugural Harvest Festival &amp; Artisan Market on Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Wagner Farm Arboretum, 197 Mountain Avenue in Warren, NJ.
This free, family-friendly fall event will feature 75+ artisan vendors, food trucks and specialty foods, live music and entertainment, family activities, an Autumn Mum Market and more throughout the Arboretum grounds.
