Rise from the grave at The Underground 🧟
Somerville’s newest micro-creative space is opening its doors, and you’re invited to the party. Join us for an artsy Halloween night featuring a screening of Night of the Living Dead with a brand-new live musical score, spooky snacks and drinks, and a chance to show off your best zombie look.Click here for tickets!
The film that started it all
Night of the Living Dead (1968) gave birth to the modern zombie movie. Flesh-eating ghouls? Contagious bites? It all began here. A 95% Rotten Tomatoes score and a permanent spot on countless “greatest” and “scariest” lists say it still bites.
It was also the first major US horror film to star a Black actor, Duane Jones, whose casting added unexpected depth to Romero’s sharp social critique.
Live score, live scares
Multi-instrumentalist duo Emma and Micah Huang, the creators behind the hit podcast Blood on Gold Mountain and the LA Hungry Ghost Festival, will perform an all-new score live. Expect dark electronics, haunting vocals, ominous guitars, and of course, the obligatory organ.
Eat, drink, and be scary
Enjoy spooky snacks and themed drinks, with all refreshments clearly labeled for dietary restrictions.
Come in costume!
Zombies especially welcome. Whether this is your Halloween main event or your pregame, get creepy with us.
Be part of the story
Get the first look at The Underground and join its original cast of characters. Space is limited, so grab your ticket before this one’s dead and buried. 🧟🧟🧟

Back by popular demand: Full Moon Halloween Yoga—costumes optional!
🌕 Join us for a special Monday night Hunter’s Moon Yoga & Soundscape inside the breathtaking Museum of Modern Renaissance!
Monday, October 26, 2026 • 7:00 PM
Museum of Modern Renaissance • Somerville, MA
The Hunter’s Moon always follows the Harvest Moon. Traditionally, its bright light helped hunters continue after sunset while families and communities gathered food and prepared for the winter ahead.
Spiritually, the Hunter’s Moon represents preparation, reflection, and the continuation of time as one season gives way to the next. It invites us to pause and take an honest look at where we are—our work, relationships, goals, and personal growth—and decide where we want to place our energy moving forward.
Together, we’ll move, breathe, and reconnect as a community while setting intentions for the season ahead.
This special all-levels experience includes:
✨ 60-minute guided yoga flow
🔔 15-minute restorative soundscape in Savasana
🎵 Crystal singing bowls, percussion, and a fun Halloween-inspired playlist
🌕 Hunter’s Moon reflection and intention setting
🎃 Costumes are completely optional
🎨 A truly unforgettable setting surrounded by the museum’s inspiring artwork
Whether you’re brand new to yoga or have been practicing for years, this laid-back class is open to all levels and all bodies. Come exactly as you are—or come dressed as somebody else for Halloween!
You can also DM @BulldogFlowBoston to pay directly through Venmo or Zelle.
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to settle into the space. Phones are discouraged during class except for emergencies.
