When Hansel and Gretel get sent into the woods, they run into numerous peculiar characters. They meet a fiery troll who guards his wooden bridge. Even stranger, they encounter an articulate owl, a forest sprite, and two hobgoblins; all of which work for a frightening (yet hilarious) witch. The witch snatches Hansel and keeps him captive, feeding him nothing but cake. Gretel must defeat them and rescue her brother. Can she succeed, or will she fall victim to the witch and get nothing but cake for the rest of her life?

"In an old house in Paris that was covered with vines lived 12 little girls in two straight lines." So begins Madeline's Christmas! The day starts as any other. Miss. Clavel takes Madeline and 11 other girls to the zoo and gives them a French lesson. But disaster strikes when everyone gets the flu. That is, everyone but Madeline. On Christmas Eve, the girls go to sleep, sad that they may not get to go home for Christmas. Will the miracle of Christmas heal the girls and send them home to their families?&nbsp;&nbsp;

Encore invites students ages 9-18 to audition for the cast of the show and students ages 12-18 to come out and interview for crew.&nbsp; Auditions will be held within a group, and the production team will be looking for projection, teamwork, and creativity skills.&nbsp; Then, the callback list will be posted shortly after the audition date.&nbsp;
The Lightning Thief follows Percy Jackson, the teenage son of Poseidon, as he embarks on a quest to prove his innocence. When Zeus’s lightning bolt is stolen, Percy becomes the prime suspect due to his father’s rivalry with Zeus. Percy receives a riddle from the Oracle that calls him to retrieve the bolt and prove his innocence. Armed with his newly formed powers, he embarks on a quest alongside his new friends Annabeth and Grover. Not only does he have to retrieve the bolt, but he must travel to the underworld, decode the riddle that warns him of a great betrayal, and come to terms with his father abandoning him. Will he succeed? Or maybe the strength of gods and monsters is enough to thwart Percy Jackson for good.

Enchanted Bookshop takes place entirely in a small bookstore named A Likely Story. The store seems average by day, but it comes alive at night– literally. Beloved characters from classic literature step out of their books after all of the humans are gone. However, one night they witness a burglary. The characters long to help Margie, the bookstore owner, but they are not allowed to leave the building or be seen by human eyes. Will they warn her and risk disappearing forever? Or will they put a stop to the thieves themselves?

Albert and his girlfriend/secretary Rosie devise a plan to secure his financial freedom. They decide that Conrad will give a goodbye kiss to a lucky teenage fan on The Ed Sullivan Show. The lucky fan is a girl named Kim, but the plan is immediately threatened by her overprotective boyfriend. Will Albert achieve financial independence, or will the extravagant plan cause Conrad's career to come crashing down?&nbsp;

Join us at Penrose Square for a special outdoor screening of I Know What You Did Last Summer, the iconic summer slasher that became a defining horror film of the late 1990s.
Grab your friends, pick up some popcorn, and settle in for a night of suspense under the stars. Food vendors will be on site throughout the evening, and beer and wine will be available for purchase for guests 21+.
