As our nation commemorates the 250th anniversary of American democracy, we’ll explore questions like:&nbsp;Have we evolved as a nation? Is democracy still the most effective form of governance? How can this 3,000-year-old idea continue to evolve for modern society?

Doylestown Presbyterian Church

The Bucks County Symphony Orchestra presents its premier Chamber Strings Concert at Doylestown Presbyterian Church on Sunday, May 17. Maestro José Luis Domínguez conducts some of the BCSO's most accomplished musicians in performances of Tchaikovsky's Serenade for Strings, Barber's Adagio for Strings, Grieg's Holberg Suite, and Jessie Montgomery's Starburst. Tickets are available in Doylestown at Rutherford's Camera Shop and the Doylestown Bookshop, and on the BCSO website. Patrons are encouraged to get tickets in advance to guarantee admission. Adults: $25 in advance/$30 at the door. Seniors: $20 in advance/$25 at the door. Students admitted free of charge.
