Jan Burke, Neighbor

Currently I am working for Bella Baby Photography taking pictures of newborns in local hospitals. It is my goal to capture special moments of each newborn’s first few days of life. For the last six years I have volunteered at the Chicago Botanic Garden. As part of their Digital Documentation Team, I photograph specific gardens and upload all photographer images to the Garden Guide smart phone app after editing and adding metadata in Lightroom. I recently completed the Fine Art Photography Certificate Program at the Chicago Botanic Garden and am a member of the Chicago Photographic Arts Society and the North Shore Camera Club. My images have been published in the last eight editions of East on Central and have been exhibited at the Chicago Botanic Garden as well as libraries, cafes and coffee houses in the Chicagoland area.
