Jayne Valente, Neighbor

Jayne Valente is a home decorator, home stager, product designer and seamstress in the Southeast Connecticut town of Mystic (adjacent to Rhode Island).

She has designed and sewn clothes her entire life and then branched out into designing and staging home interiors.

Because she is also a highly skilled seamstress, she was able to perform her own sewing to create products for the home and for the body. All of her creations carry the signature of simple elegance.

Jayne has developed a particular talent in creating custom slipcovers and cushion covers for homes and boats. She works with clients to assure that the new covering works in their home or yacht.

She went full-time into her business in 2001 and is now a highly regarded designer in the region and her custom slipcovers are in homes and boats across Connecticut, Rhode Island, and even in Anguilla.
