Jillian Risberg, Neighbor

Jillian is a freelance journalist who just moved to the area after 3 1/2 years living in Southern California, where she contributed to the Beach & Bay Press, Peninsula Beacon, La Jolla Light and Ranch & Coast, a luxury lifestyle magazine.  She started her career deep in Hudson County politics at The Jersey Journal and wrote feature stories/home, garden, health, fitness, food and more for a variety of Gannett publications, including Morris County's Daily Record and its magazines; Good Life, Panache and Real Morris, as well as Somerset County's Courier News.  She is qualified by the Associated Press and has also spent the past few years pursuing her other passion, broadcast journalism, reporting for award-winning Del Mar (CA) Television and KOCT in Oceanside, CA.   She is a frequent contributor to Newjerseynewsroom.com and can be seen reporting from the field on Hudsoncountytv.com.
