Longtime Germantown resident and Wissahickon wanderer, I found that the goals of urban sustainability sustain me enough to work my "land" at the SCEE community garden,  to work to promote our local farm scene, to help connect our nearby farmers with our neighbors and friends and local businesses, to engage in those dialogues with one another which investigate and expand upon the benefits of knowing where our food comes from and how it is produced, to give us each the opportunity to impact that system in a meaningful and delicious way.
