Jones Beach State Park

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is pleased to announce Salute 250 on Saturday, May 23 and Sunday, May 24 at Jones Beach State Park. The Memorial Day Weekend celebration will feature a Revolutionary War Re-enactment Village, festival activities, a musical performance and our first-ever Grand Finale Drone Show! Located in Field 3.5, the Re-enactment village will have colonial cooking, historical exhibits, colonial crafting, George Washington on horseback, and much more, both days from 12:00pm to 6:00pm!&nbsp;On Sunday, the festivities turn up a notch with children’s activities and inflatables over at the West Bathhouse from 3:00pm to 6:00pm. A musical patriotic tribute to our military will commence at the Central Mall Bandshell from 6:00pm to 9:00pm, leading up to the Drone Show on Central Mall’s Beachfront at 9:00pm! A $10 vehicle use fee will be in effect and all event activities will be free.

Long Island State Parks

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is pleased to announce the return of the annual Summer Run Series. This eight-race series will begin Monday, June 8 and will run through Monday, August 10, 2026. Participation in the Summer Run Series will be limited to a total of 4,000 runners. Advance registration is required, please visit <a href="https://events.elitefeats.com/26srs" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://events.elitefeats.com/26srs</a>. 
Tier 1 Registration – CLOSED.

Tier 2 Registration – opens Wednesday, April 15 at 6:00am
Includes 4 races only and is open to a maximum of 1,500 runners
(Heckscher – 5-mile and 5k, Sunken Meadow – 10K, Jones Beach – 5-mile)
Cost is $75 per registrant. 

Wheelchair Registration – opens Wednesday, April 15 at 6:00am
Includes 4 races only and is open to a maximum of 1,500 runners.

The Summer Run Series is sponsored by the Natural Heritage Trust, Foundation for Long Island State Parks, 106.1 WBLI, 102.3 WBAB, Runners Edge, FourLeaf Federal Credit Union, Boening Brothers, Performax Physical Therapy and Wellness, New York Cancer &amp; Blood Specialists, Newsday, and WildPlay Elements Park, Jones Beach.

The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation is pleased to announce the 2026 FourLeaf Air Show and Fireworks at Jones Beach State Park! 
Festivities will kick off on Saturday, July 4, Independence Day, with a Fireworks Program from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. Following Fireworks will be the FourLeaf Air Show, on Sunday, July 5, and Monday, July 6 at 10:00am to 3:00pm, which will feature the United States Navy Blue Angels as the headliner. Created out of a desire to salute America’s heroes and bring a truly patriotic event to Jones Beach State Park, the FourLeaf Air Show has grown into the premier North American air show for the United States’ Semi-quincentennial (250th) Anniversary! Join us for a weekend we won’t forget! 
There is no general admission ticket needed to attend, just a $10 Vehicle Use Fee onsite.

Interested in an upgraded experience while also supporting recreational programs at state parks? The Jones Beach Chalet is just for you! Whether you’re attending with friends, family, colleagues, or clients, we have the space to suit your needs, and all proceeds will benefit state park programming. This experience takes place right on the sand at Jones Beach, next to the center point of the show. Entry allows guests to enjoy a fully catered Continental Breakfast, Hot and Cold Lunch Buffet, Beverage Service that includes beer, wine and soda, VIP Parking, and the use of Private Restroom facilities conveniently located for Chalet guests. For the July 4th Fireworks Chalet, the food service will be adjusted to include a Hot and Cold Dinner Buffet. Seating in the chalet is shared; however, full tables may be reserved.
Tickets for the 2026 Jones Beach Chalet are available to purchase now at <a href="https://www.fourleafairshow.com/hospitality/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.fourleafairshow.com/hospitality/</a>. Tickets are being sold at a discounted rate with an Early Bird Special being offered until May 31, 2026. After May 31, tickets will continue to be available at regular prices. Ticket sales will end July 1st.

Saturday, July 4 (Fireworks Program only): 5PM – 10PM
Sunday, July 5 (Air Show): 7AM – 4PM
Monday, July 6 (Air Show): 7AM – 4PM
