The Doctor's Spicebox-- Healthy Cooking Classes, Neighbor

Linda Shiue, MD is an internal medicine physician who believes that the best medicine is prevention, and that healthy cooking is a building block of health. She is currently offering cooking classes at Draeger's Cooking School, Palo Alto Adult School and the San Mateo Public Libraries. She is also a culinary enthusiast whose recipes and writing have appeared in national and international publications, in addition to her food blog, SpiceboxTravels.com. She received her undergraduate and medical degrees from Brown University and completed an internal medicine residency at UCSF. She has received culinary instruction at Le Cordon Bleu, Paris, and at the Culinary Institute of America, St. Helena.
