Lisa Groover, Neighbor

Having moved to Northern Virginia in 1989 and to Old Town Alexandria in 1998, Lisa’s extensive knowledge of the area proves to be an asset throughout the buying or selling process. She is thrilled to introduce her clients to such a dynamic place to live, and to market homes based upon their unique features, communities and neighborhoods.

Lisa’s entire career has been one of success in marketing, sales and service. Clients have access to her strong negotiating skills and years of managing large budgets. She is an accomplished problem solver with the ability to multi-task while working under tight deadlines.

Lisa is known for her creativity, attention to detail, eye for design and artistic flair. These qualities have become a valuable resource when it comes to seeing the potential in a property, or preparing and staging a home for sale.

As a former promotional products professional, corporate meeting planner, and hotel director of catering, her experience provided the foundation for a natural transition into residential real estate.

Originally from Florida, Lisa lived in Texas, New Jersey and New York before settling in Virginia. She is active in the community and volunteers with a number or organizations. She is on the welcome committee in her neighborhood and plans meetings for a local non-profit. In addition to being a pet friendly real estate professional, she is a volunteer dog obedience trainer, and works with several pet therapy groups with her golden retriever.

Lisa believes that her success has always been a combination of skill and the ability to listen to her client’s needs, wants and desires. She understands that lifestyle and timing play a key role in making buying and selling decisions, and is proud to have built her business through referrals and returning clients.
