5-5:30 PM VIP Cocktail Hour
5:30 - 9:00 PM Cocktails, Dinner & FunJoin Wags & Wishes, an intimate evening on Nov. 14, 2026 in Palo Alto, CA, bringing together leaders in veterinary medicine, business, philanthropy, and animal welfare to support families caring for pets with chronic, life-threatening illnesses. Enjoy a beautifully prepared seated dinner paired with local wines, hear from leading veterinary specialists, browse our thoughtfully curated silent auction, and connect with a compassionate community united by a shared commitment – to help pets and the families who love them.

Founder Kaajal Tiwary established Diesel’s FootPrint in memory of her dog, Diesel, who lived with multiple chronic illnesses for nearly eight years. Drawing from that experience, the organization provides support in three vital areas—all directly funded by every ticket and sponsorship to Wags & Wishes:
• Financial assistance for ongoing veterinary treatment • Cooperative care training to help pets experience necessary medical care with less fear and stress

• Therapist-led support groups for people managing the emotional and practical demands of long-term caregiving

Why We’re Here
When a dog or cat is diagnosed with a chronic condition, care is not limited to a single veterinary bill and may continue for months or years. Depending on the diagnosis and required treatment, annual veterinary costs can range from $2,500 to $7,000. With the right medical care, many of these pets can live full lives.
This ongoing commitment may include medications, specialist appointments, diagnostic testing, and other treatments, creating financial, practical, and emotional challenges for families. With your support, more pets can receive the care they need and experience the best possible quality of life.

Viewpoints Art Gallery

Show Dates: November 4-29, 2026Meet the Artist Days: Sunday, November 15 and November 22, 11am-5pm Viewpoints Gallery is delighted to ring in the holiday season with “Natural Wonders,” a dazzling collection of new works in gold leaf, acrylic and collage by Woodside artist, Amy Rattner. Amy has been painting wildlife for 20 years and her ability to capture the spirit and personality of her animal subjects shines through in each piece of her new collection. “Natural Wonders” features animals from California and around the globe that have held deep meaning for Amy, literally or symbolically, throughout her life. As a result, this vibrant collection touches on themes that are both global and personal, including motherhood, metamorphosis, change and conservation. Amy’s work juxtaposes gold leaf with beautiful handmade Japanese paper, simple compositions and masterful acrylic painting. Her distinctly elegant style elevates her wild subjects, highlighting each animal’s inherent beauty, grace and essential value to the artist and to the world at large.
Amy’s unique design aesthetic took shape at an early age and continues to inspire her today. “My mom lived in Kyoto for a year in college and filled our childhood home with beautiful Japanese screens, artifacts and woodblock prints. I grew up adoring Japanese art and design, which honored elegance, simplicity and the concept of less is more," says Amy. She also draws inspiration from the Arts and Crafts movement of the 1920s, which celebrated a return to handcrafted art, natural materials and simplicity in design.
Amy works at home (with her two Bernese mountain dogs at her feet), and at her studio at Art Bias in San Carlos. After receiving a BA and MA in English from Stanford, she started her own graphic design firm, Kindred-Storey Designs until she rediscovered her love of fine art in 2006. Since then, Amy’s award-winning work has been juried into local, national, and international exhibitions and has appeared in magazines such as Mountain Home, Southwest Art, Palette Magazineand Art and Color 365. Her work has been featured in galleries throughout California, in Santa Fe, New Mexico and online at UGallery. She is a member of Allied Artists West (AAW), Art Bias, the Santa Clara Valley Watercolor Society, American Women Artists and the Association of Animal Artists. Amy’s work is currently available at Viewpoints Gallery in Los Altos. More information about Amy’s work can be found on her website, www.amyrattnertart.com, on Instagram @amysr, on Facebook www.facebook.com/AmyRattnerArt and on the Viewpoints Gallery website, www.viewpointsgallery.com.
