Maggie Grainger, Neighbor

Maggie Grainger is a journalist based in Los Angeles. She majored in journalism at San Diego State, where she served as the assistant arts and entertainment editor of the school&#39;s newspaper, <i>The Daily Aztec</i>. After graduating in 2006, she landed a job as an editor at Wireless Flash News, a wire service that offered celebrity and wacky news stories to more than 800 media outlets worldwide. In 2007, she decided it would be a brilliant idea to move to Los Angeles where she landed a full-time gig writing for the iconic teen magazines <i>Tiger Beat</i> and <i>BOP</i>. She is excited to join the Patch team and cover local happenings, shops and restaurants in her weekly column &#34;The Going Rate.&#34;
