Hi! My name is Melanie Elizabeth Bates. I am a Washington, DC-based attorney and owner of Melanie Bates Consulting, LLC. I am also a violinist dedicated to amplifying music written by Black composers.

Music has the power to transform our overall well-being. I perform for senior living communities, assisted living facilities, and other nonprofit organizations. I strive to make a meaningful connection with every person in the audience. I cherish the ability to share my passion.
