The Laughing Fox Restaurant, 510 S. White Horse Pike, Magnolia, NJ, Pa. presents an exclusive early couples night out for Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, from 7 until 9:30 PM.

The cost is $150 per couple and features a deluxe buffet and an Adult Comedy Show with Headliner, the Reverend Bob Levy (Howard Stern Show), Steve Rinaldi, Katrina Braxton and Jay Yoder.

The deluxe  “all you can eat” Buffet features Laughing Fox “Sticky Ribs”, Cheese Steak Egg Rolls, Chicken Parmigiana, Salmon Dijonase, Bang-Bang Shrimp, mixed steamed vegetables and a fresh garden salad It will also include a Champagne toast, plenty of desserts (chocolate, chocolate, chocolate!) But how do you start what may be a difficult conversation? What topics should you raise? How should you handle push-back from parents or siblings? Where can you get advice? What resources are available? How do you tell your mother or father it’s time for them to give up driving? Or that they need to move to a new residence where they’ll be safe, and cared for?

Get answers from experts at 7pm on Wednesday, September 23 during a free Community Conversation hosted by American Legion Post 38 at the First Baptist Church of Haddonfield (124 Kings Hwy East).

An aging life care professional and president of the NJ Chapter of the Aging Life Care Association. • Grayson Heberley, an elder law attorney. • Adam Puff of Haddonfield Financial Planning. • Lois Edmund, a downsizing specialist with Seniors on the Move. • Addy Schultz, a former adult child and a current aging parent.

Gloucester County Historical Society Museum, 58 N. Broad Street in Woodbury

The <a href="https://www.gchsnj.org/" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">Gloucester County Historical Society</a>&nbsp;takes a look back at the ghost stories from the Civil War in a special presentation in its Museum hosted by Civil War reenactor Vince Dicicco from 7:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, October 15. He will detail the haunted sites, errie encounters, and tales of apparitions reported from buildings and sites across the grounds where the Battle of Gettysburg was fought.
Gettysburg is considered one of the most haunted places in the country, with numerous accounts of ghostly regiments, phantom horsemen, and mysterious faces appearing in photographs. Sites like Devil’s Den at Gettysburg, Bloody Lane at Antietam, Chickamauga, Sharpsburg, Shiloh, and Andersonville are well-known for reports of spectral soldiers wandering the grounds or reenacting historical battles.
Tourists and locals at Gettysburg have reported seeing apparitions, hearing the sounds of battle, and encountering unexplained phenomena around landmarks such as the Gettysburg Orphanage, Farnsworth House, and Soldier’s Orphanage cellar. Bloody Lane at Antietam has tales of ghostly singing, vanishing Confederate soldiers, phantom gunfire, and strange smells attributed to lingering spirits of fallen men.
