Mindy York, Neighbor

Mindy York is a dedicated advocate for water safety and co-owner of Baby Otter Swim School in Florida. With a background in business development, Mindy's journey with Baby Otter began in the most personal and powerful way. When her 17-month-old child was found at the bottom of a pool, her knowledge of CPR saved her daughter’s life. This life-altering experience sparked a deep commitment to prevent such incidents from happening to other families.

Together with her business partner, Marlene, Mindy has spent the past 40 years developing and growing Baby Otter Swim School into a renowned program that focuses on teaching life-saving swim techniques to children of all ages. Her passion and dedication have touched the lives of countless families, and she remains fiercely committed to the school’s mission: saving lives, one swimmer at a time.

Under Mindy’s leadership, Baby Otter Swim School has become a trusted name in swim education, offering both in-person lessons and franchise opportunities for those who share her vision of making water safety a priority.
