Miranda Wildman is a Western North Carolina based self-taught mixed media artist. She believes art making and art collecting are for everyone and she strives to dispel the long proliferated myth that art is only for the elite. Offering a wide range of mixed media art parties, art workshops, and retreats, she designs each experience for all skill levels and all walks of life. Her artwork is a reflection of the vibrancy and lushness of nature that surrounds us here in the mountains and the feelings that are evoked when spending time outside. From season to season you will find Miranda with windows wide open in her home studio painting, making mixed media messes, experimenting with atmospheric art installations, frolicking in the garden with her husband and cat, on art dates with friends, or even selling her artwork and collection of vintage treasures at local artisan markets. You can also find her art partying or teaching workshops at rooftop bars, cozy cafes, hidden speakeasies, cute plant shops, local art leagues, and art studios.
