Nastassya Saad, Neighbor

I was born and raised in Sausalito and love everything about living in a small town. I became a volunteer for the city at the age of 8 and took part in all of their local events.

I became interested in journalism when I joined the BARK, Redwood High School's award-winning paper. It was there that my passion for writing and storytelling took off. I also was part of Sausalito's Marinscope newspaper during that time.

After graduating UCSC with bachelor's degree in Politics and French language, I began working in two bay area newsrooms: ABC 7 News and NBC 11 News, in San Francisco and San Jose respectively. Clearly, I cannot avoid the world of journalism.

All that aside, I am a food lover beyond compare and absolutely love fresh baked bread.
