Get creative at Grundy Library’s Annual Craft Supply Swap! You’re invited to join on Saturday, May 16, 2026 for a day full of crafting fun, sharing, and inspiration!
How does the Swap work?
Donations Accepted
Donated craft supplies* will be accepted on Thursday, May 14th and Friday, May 15th from 10:00 am – 3:45 pm.&nbsp; Any individual that donates craft supplies will receive a VIP ticket for early entrance on the day of the swap.
Swap Day
The swap is Saturday, May 16, 2026 beginning at 10:30 am and continuing until 1:00 pm, or until all supplies are gone. VIP ticket holders enjoy early entrance at 10:00 am. Bags will be provided, and any unclaimed supplies will be donated to charity.

<ul><li>Yarn</li><li>Fabric and felt</li><li>Ribbon</li><li>Knitting needles, crochet hooks, stitch counters, etc.</li><li>Needlework kits (counted cross stitch, embroidery, etc.)</li><li>Embroidery/needlework supplies (hoops, floss, Aida fabric, etc.)</li><li>Sewing notions (thread, trim/binding, zippers, buttons, etc.)</li><li>Rubber stamps, useable ink pads, embossing tools/heat tools</li><li>Scrapbooking or card-making supplies, scrapbook embellishments</li><li>Paper and cardstock for card-making/scrapbooking</li><li>Greeting cards</li><li>Beads &amp; beading supplies</li><li>Jewelry making supplies and tools</li><li>Art supplies, useable art paints, brushes, canvases, graphite/pastels, art paper</li><li>Silk flowers/florals/greenery and foam cores/shapes for silk floral arrangements</li><li>Decorative containers/baskets for floral arrangements</li><li>Instructional craft books and pattern books—knitting, crochet, quilting/sewing, cross-stitch</li><li>Patterns—clothing, doll clothing, home décor</li><li>Small wood cutouts, unpainted</li><li>Picture frames (empty), framing supplies</li><li>Craft fun foam sheets or shapes</li><li>Stencils</li><li>Useable children’s crafts—kits or supplies</li></ul>
Please note: All items should be clean, or gently used, and in the original packaging. If the original packing isn’t available, place donated items in a clean zip lock bag.
Please, no partial bottles of glue, glue-type liquids, spray paint, paint thinners or additives, or unfinished craft projects.
The Grundy Library reserves the right to dispose of any donated supplies deemed inappropriate.
