This opportunity is open to youth ages 8 and up (parents invited) from Wakefield and surrounding towns, offering a chance to see the parade acts up close in the staging area. Mount Hood Golf Course

MCB comes back to Mt. Hood each summer for our Fourth of July celebration. Join us under the summer sky for an evening of patriotic favorites, stirring marches, and Broadway and big-band classics as we mark the nation’s 250th birthday — featuring vocalist April Foley and a rousing sing-along finale.
The concert takes place on the lawn beside the clubhouse at Mt. Hood, the City of Melrose’s public golf course. Seating is on the grass, so bring blankets and lawn chairs, gather the whole family, and settle in for a festive evening of music.The concert concludes with a "Parade of Children" flag march while the band plays 'Stars and Stripes" Forever."
